Fishing

Around the Shores of Lake, you can fish in the lake or in the Buëch, first category river. Fly fishing on parts of the river.
In Lake, you can fish for trout, studs, carp, barbel, pike, ablettes…
River, the most common fish is the brown trout.

Fishing is open on the lake from the beginning of March to the beginning of November.
Fishing is not allowed on Fridays except in June, July and August (where it is allowed every day).
A fishing festival for children is organized in May (no card sales that day) and a fishing competition takes place in September.
Day pass : 12€ per person.
Week card : 19€ for children 5 to 14 years, and €24 for others.
Monthly pass : 25€ for children 5 to 14 years, and 40€ for others.
Fishing permits are available at camping.

For the rivers : a fishing license from the department is required ; there is no reciprocity with other departments. If you already hold a card from another department, so tourist cards cost (prices 2016) : 9,80€ pour 1 day ; 17,70€ for a week ; 37,20 euros for a year.
