La Chapelle en Valgaudemar and Veil Married

Crushed by steep slopes, dominated by high peaks, Valgaudemar, wild site among all, has retained its authenticity.

Take time to visit the village of Saint Maurice (with the tercentenary lime next to the church), the mill of Villard-Loubière, Chapel in the hamlet of Valgaudemard and Doors (take the path from the village of La Chapelle, along the stream) with its thatched houses.

In Saint Firmin, the spinning is very interesting to visit.

The bottom of the valley is beautiful, wild, with the cascade of Bridal Veil and finally the refuge Gioberney. Short hikes from the hut with the opportunity to see marmots. We recommend the loop of Lake Lauzon (1h30, 6kms, 400m elevation) that is beautiful.

When you come back, you can make a short stop to see the ruins of Lesdiguière.
