D03 – The Lavender Roads

Mévouillon Valley is famous for growing lavender. Go there in July is a true delight for the eyes and nose ! You can take the opportunity to make a paragliding above the lavender fields, contactant l'école in paragliding (link below).

Lagrand Orpierre and above are two pretty villages to visit : The past of flourishing Barony of Orpierre, fief of the Princes of Orange, is still visible, go discover these treasures through lanes, drailles and walkways of the medieval village.

Return, stop at the old village of Mison, of course after a nice swim in the beautiful Méouge gorges or after watching the hang gliders and paragliders from Mountain chabre !
